Two new Porkers
Unfortunately only models, but one day, I will have a GT3 and a 997 at that! head down, work hard and invest well, and bingo, possibly a chance of owning my fave car.
But with the draconian and frankly stupid speed enforcement in the Uk, performance cars are having to fight for their future. Speed does not kill. Inappropriate speed kills. So, yes, throw the telephone directory at a muppet driving 50 in a 30mph limit, but don’t persecute safe, progressive driving when the roads are clear, the conditions / weather good in an appropriate car.
As to “speed cameras”, well, they should be banned. They encourage dangerous driving as people are not watching the road but watching where these damn things are, and also whether they are doing 53 in a 50, when they should have eyes on the road and on other road users. Grrrr.. how annoying…
That is why an industry has grown up around using technology to keep you alert of the ever growing number of cash machines, sorry, “speed cameras”. More on this shortly as I have purchased something to help.
