State of the Web 2008

Although ‘Summer’ is a term that we certainly don’t recognise at the moment (yes, raining again here in East Yorkshire!), Matthew Inman has done a great web page showing the state of the web at the year.

Interesting to see that he gives a good call for the iPhone 3G being a good price - I would add a section at the bottom devoted to the chocolate teapot-like beahviour of O2 here in the UK. Yes, you still suck today, even more than yesterday.

On serious note, it never ceases to amaze me the pace of web development, both design, apps in the cloud and new services. I could never imagine some of the things we take for granted now only a few years ago. Just think of The State of the Web in 2010 :-)
