Skype is a superb service. Yes, they do have some little (or not so little) hiccups, but generally it’s great. They have just released the latest beta for Mac, which, for me, has a very cool new feature - integration with Address Book - it seems to be working nicely so far. Click here to read more about it and download.

I’m actually probably using Skype more than iChat at the moment. I would love better integration with iChat, and am also looking forward to the new features in Leopard. The best thing about Skype though? Chatting with Mum and Dad! if they can manage it, anyone can, although the lowest common denominator for any software testing is a chap called Noel (he is available for beta testing).

PS Only kidding Noely!

I too and liking this new version of Skype, though it’s still lagging behind the Windows version…

    Hi Glenn,

I have used the Windows version a little bit, but am no expert. What are the differences and what is better?
