iPhone 3G in the UK = a lot of interest

Being greeted by this on the O2 site after clicking on the HUGE banner on the front of the page, does seem to point towards a high level of interest. I just hope they can meet the demand.
I registered my interest a few weeks ago, just after the announcement, but I am still not sure what I will be doing on Friday. Tomorrow will start with a call to O2 to get some clarification, and then Apple. Come on guys, people like me need some solid info!

Yes, the solid information just hasn’t been forthcoming which is odd since the release is just 5 days away.
I registered my interest on the day the 3G iPhone was announced and early last week o2 sent me a text which said something along the lines of a first come first served basis and that they’d send me another text soon with more information – so about as clear as mud from that :-/
That’s what I had too Sam. Honestly, this is beyond a joke, unless Apple are not helping them with supplying what is actually happening
