Free online alternative to Microsoft’s Office

I like the word free
And I like an alternative to Microsoft even more
so this caught my eye when reading my blogs. Scoble has a video demo of thinkfree on the Podtech site which is probably worth a look (downloading now).

Hey Jonny — this looks interesting. Google Apps are also pretty sexy. I notice that they have a paid service ($50/yr) with extra storage etc and I’m thinking of getting some accounts for contractors etc so we can work remotely. Integration with Google Calendar is an added bonus. My tech expert Nick also says that GMail for Domains can be used to integrate email as well. Mmmmm… on demand software
Hi Will!
There is no need for Microsoft again!
But the big question, would your black beauty allow non-Microsh*te apps? He he….
I think that the paid Google apps look superb for a small business. Would certainly consider it in the future. Zoho are supposed to be good and I already use 37 signals stuff – Basecamp and Highrise.
There are two very cool small business apps for Mac (surprise!) called Daylite and Billings – just looking at these as an option this week.
