Catching my breath!

Blimey. It has been pretty busy over the past 14 days! I cannot believe the last time I blogged was on erm, well,I while ago!! Oh man, not impressed with that in the slightest! Well, at least it looks like I have a little time to spare this evening, so I can write a few posts.

It’s been a pretty hectic month. So what’s been happening? Well, we now have two (reasonably) sensible cars - Skoda Fabia VRs’ and they are truly superb. We were lucky enough to find some excellent examples, especially the one I collected from Widdows of Cheltenham a just under two weeks ago. A huge thanks to them for looking after me and providing a seamless and professional service. I then took Lenny up to Hexham Horseless Carriages and, again received excellent service, but not surprisingly as they were buying a mint car from me for a very good price! Anyway, we now have two diesels, quick, huge torque, very well specced (Xenons, cruise control, and a real bonus, heated front seats!) and very frugal. I recently went down to London and back and averaged over 54mpg! With diesel being up to £1.10p a litre, this is very important. (They also both have very informative trip computers, unlike a certain Audi estate I know ;-)
The trip to London was to collect the boss ;-) from Heathrow as she had been in the states, and before that she had been in Germany on business / pleasure. It’s a bit of role reversal after all the traveling I used to do at the Borg. I have been to Cheltenham, Hexham and a certain establishment near Peterborough recently (more on that on a future post), so nothing international!

As well as sorting out the cars, we have had a superb job done on a new garden fence by Mr Dean Clark, who I can thoroughly recommend - let me know if you need his number…. We also need to look at getting some sash windows renovated, but finances are not going to allow this this year.

So, cars and house projects. Is that it you ask? Well no as a matter of fact. I am still in the trials and tribulations + huge excitement of setting up my businesses and I will tell you more about that soon (some key learnings and I think it is about time I showed you my brand identities!).

Good to see you back on the blog. It has been a bit quiet recently ;)

Good to see you got another Scoda. It’s a very nice machine. Totally changed my opinion on diesels.

Anyway, will catch up with you on Skype sometime soon. Things just keeps getting in the way of fun stuff on the computer.

    Morning Jamie!

Quiet?! Silence more like! I guess I just did not have that Blogging zing for a while, but it’s back!

The new Skoda is even better than the other one - wait to you experience the torque! ;-)
