I am really liking this new service…. Such a clever idea and looks VERY slick.

It would be perfect for people who are doing client artwork, but I am not sure of the pricing (must have a look). Has anyone used this or know of anyone who has used it? Their website is really nice too - simple, nice colours, with the ever popular grey (for a reason as it does look cool!). They have a good tour so make sure you take a peep!

Must be good!
Kate has just emailed me this url for Tesla Motors, so it must be good! They are apparently growing in popularity and getting some good reviews. Damn quick too! They are based on the Lotus Elise - very obvious from the interior.

Speaking of the Lotus, I am going out to take some pics tonight - aiming to take them before nightfall at the Humber Bridge and near work (nice and industrial looking). Will post some later on my flickr account.

Stick one of the best classical musicians in the world in a Washington Subway busking and watch what happens. This is a fascinating article brought to my attention by my friend Richard, (has an excellent blog here).

Apple sell 100 million iPods!
From the Apple press release:

“CUPERTINO, California—April 9, 2007—Apple® today announced that the 100
millionth iPod® has been sold, making the iPod the fastest selling
music player in history. The first iPod was sold five and a half years
ago, in November 2001, and since then Apple has introduced more than 10
new iPod models, including five generations of iPod, two generations of
iPod mini, two generations of iPod nano and two generations of iPod
shuffle. Along with iTunes® and the iTunes online music store, the iPod
has transformed how tens of millions of music lovers acquire, manage
and listen to their music”.
Now that is impressive! The iPod has contributed to the massive turn around in Apple’s fortune over the past 5 years, not to forget their meteoric share price as well.
Congrats Apple!

Holy moley. This is BONKERS. 1000+ bhp. Madness of the highest order. There is a great movie to watch about the development and the driving of the beast. I cannot imagine what this would be like to drive. A 440bhp RS4 makes me giggle and is already crackers for the UK roads. The TTGT40 has over double that power!

I am using ours for films mostly, but it will be the first port of call for looking at new photos!

Twitter has been the darling of the blogosphere recently, being trumpeted by the likes of Scoble and the FT. Jaiku is a new company, which I presume is trying to get a leg up on the back of Twitter’s good PR.

drobo - super cool storage solution
drobo looks superb - a fully automated storage system, where you can add drives as you need them. It uses up to 4 SATA drives in a cool black box connected to your Mac or PC via USB2. The clever part is that it senses problems and can transfer data between drives, as well as tell you which drive is faulty via colours of LEDs. The computer only sees one drive so you can swap and change drives without interrupting the data transfer. At $699 it is a little on the expensive side, but I would certainly consider one if they were a little cheaper.
