Controversial. Conspiracy theory. Unpatriotic. These are all mentioned when the subject of 9/11 and the US government allowing, yes allowing it to happen are mentioned. This is fascinating stuff and I plead you all to have a look at the Loose Change website here - it is an amazing film showing a HUGE amount of evidence that the attacks were planned by the US government, to give them total freedom with foreign policy in the years to come.
I have just watched the film and it is staggeringly good. There is SO much evidence which points to an inside job. From detonation charges bringing down the two towers of the WTC, to a missile used to hit the Pentagon to half the alleged terrorists being alive and well today, it makes essential viewing. There is even evidence showing that flight 93 actually landed and a different plane was flown into the tower. Incredible. Also, the cell phone calls placed from the planes - this has been shown to be impossible at the altitude they were flying at.
It really does give more reason to loathe and fear a President like Dubya and the US administration. Truly terrifying.

Apple Store Southampton
This store opened last weekend 
I used to go into Southampton shopping when I was in my teens. There were no big shopping centres then, and certainly no Apple Stores. Come to think about, I would not have even heard of Apple!
New MacPros?!
Loop Rumors is speculating whether there will be some newly designed MacPros announced soon - have a read here - apparently they could be smaller and also have speed increases. I blooming hope not as I have only had mine since December!!! 
There is also the possibility of new cinema screens and even a new iSight, but this is thought to be included in the new displays like the MacBooks and MacBookPros.

Evening all
It has been a busy week. Again. In the office for 7.30am, but that means I get a load done in the first hour or so.
I need a holiday! More specifically, I need a ski holiday! It’s either going to be back to Sauze (where I lived for two seasons) or to somewhere a lot more exotic like Whistler! Just depends on finances - anyone wants to fund my ski trip!? Kate has just been asked to go to Australia with some good friends of ours to look after their son, so she is over the moon!
We’ve got a free weekend coming up which is good news, so will be able to get some stuff done! Lenny needs a really good clean and am tempted to use Dave Bowerman, who is apparently the guru of valeting - I think Lenny may be a bit low rent for him though!!
I finally managed to get hold of one of these, the XBOX 360 HD DVD player and man, it looks amazing! Have watched Syriana so far and have Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and King Kong to watch next. Not sure about the sound though - no way near as good as my Denon 1920 player and not a patch on a DTS mix. Seems to be well reported too….

I had not heard about this until today…. Basically the Dixie Chicks were publicly snubbed after they said ” we are ashamed that the president of the United States comes from Texas “. Amazing. They had death threats, radio stations boycotted their songs and now, yesterday, they won 5 Grammys. Retribution I think. All for making a very sound statement. This all happened in 2003 when the rest of the world knew that Dubya struggles to string a coherent sentence together let alone run a country, and the US just thought he had a few off days. Yeah right. It all seems fine now for the music industry and the US public to reward the Dixie Chicks, because they too have finally realised what a complete idiot he is. Sad, very sad.
When is he due to leave office anyway?!
