They have just been bought by Yahoo! , who also own flickr and de.lici.ous
Seems to me, that anyone who wants to make movies, or even thinks of making or editing movies, is the type of person who may already have done it on a pc (or a Mac) anyway. If they are Mac based, then the awesome iMovie and the other iLife apps are going to be a much better bet.

Geek dinner anyone?
Right then, I think it’s time for a geek dinner in the NE. It’s great to see so many cool parties happening, in London and of course in the US , so I think we should get one organised! I will even host it, in the kitchen and provide the grub. We could even go out and find somewhere to eat. (Perhaps with wifi. Actually v unlikely in Hull ;-)). About time …. .Mac mail update coming
Now this looks very cool. Apple have come under a lot of fire for leaving .Mac in the doldrums and not doing anything with it. This will help, and I reckon Steve will try and link it to their media / home movie offering at some point.

Last day at work for a while
Managed to get everything finished (I think), although spent most of the day in the business plan presentations - pretty interesting and everyone had put a huge amount into it.
Good to get home and Kate was having a reflexology session = some spare Mac time for me Fired up NewsFire RSS and looked few the threads I subscribe too.
Fancy some Apple beer …? Do you think Steve’s legal department may be a little upset?! They are particularly hot about infringement, which is why I rang a well known nursing magazine when they had used the Apple logo (well, made it green and reversed it) for a particularly campaign. I politely pointed out they may want to change it! It is now a pineapple! 
This also caught my eye - what a mare!! Hope she was ok! Lesson to self …. watch javelin when it is about to land!!!
