2006 Top Brands

Each year, Brand Channel ask a bunch of people (around 3600 this time) what brands have the biggest impact on them during the year. Once again, Apple and Google are heading the pack. Of particular note are the entries of YouTube and Wikipedia into the top spots - looks like the web is getting more powerful in terms of branding.
What would I have said? Probably Apple and Google :-)

Apple - I use a Mac every day, day in and day out. I listen to my iPod. I tell people to buy a Mac instead of a BORING Pc (listen up will ya’ Alan?!). I love Apple! (And as to the iPhone… well, I will be getting two!).

Google - I use Gmail, Google Reader, Google Calendar, Google analytics for this site and these are set as my home pages on most of my machines, including the work pc.

What brands would you have chosen??
