02 confirmed for UK iPhone

About time too! It looks like we are getting confirmation that 02 will be the UK provider carrier for the iPhone in the UK. Orange has also been confirmed for France and T-Mobile for Germany.

Now this appears to be out in the open, we may start ti get some details of pricing etc. Apple have been negotiating hard with the European carriers - particularly around revenues. 02 in the UK, Orange in France and T-Mobile in Germany are all going to pay Apple 10% of the iPhone’s call and data revenue - a very nice little earner indeed!
